I hate to call anyone a moron, but this time I must.
A guy in Tennessee received a tax form. His tax form was the six hundred, sixty-sixth form the company mailed, so the number “666″ appeared on the bottom of his form. The superstitious moron quit his job because he really believes that accepting that number means that his soul would belong to Satan.
That man is stupid. He probably also believes that the universe was made in six days, and that a pair of all land animals floated on an ark.

As stupid as it may sound to you, this is what that man believes in and the fact that he can give up his job for something he believes in is something to be admired not mocked.
I agree; I should not have been so harsh. He deserves to be treated with respect.
Yes but he does not get to be respected for poor theology.
what is considered as poor theology to you is someone else’s life philosophy. Its all about respecting other people’s views at the end of the day. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion.
I don’t agree. Poor theology is poor theology. If that is his life philosophy, what happens when he meets a metaphor? The guy is being too literalistic. While everyone is entitled to their own opinion, every theological interpretation cannot be correct. By chance, do you know the proper interpretation of 666?
